The silent loss of Hyderabad's urban tree cover

Challenge: The story examined Hyderabad's disappearing green spaces and the city's changing relationship with nature. The design needed to communicate environmental loss through emotion rather than statistics alone.

What Clients Say

Trusted by institutions.

Guru has designed the work for several of my newspaper articles and I have always been impressed by his ability to bring written ideas to life through visual storytelling. Many of my articles deal with complex themes in international relations and geopolitics, yet he has an instinctive sense of capturing their essence in a way that is both engaging and aesthetically striking to all the readers. His creativity and thoughtful approach add immense value to every piece he works on. It is a pleasure to see ideas transformed so effectively with his work.

Honestly, My topics aren't easy to visualize. They're technical, sometimes dry, and it takes real skill to turn that into something people actually want to look at. The designs did exactly that — sharp, relevant, and they fit the tone of each piece well. It's the kind of work that quietly makes an article better, and I don't think that gets said enough. Overall, very smart and outstanding work. Happy to work together again, and I'd recommend this designer without hesitation to anyone who needs someone reliable and genuinely good at what they do.
